I met Nino when bought my Christmas tree.  When he showed me the barn load of wood and the kiln I was like a kid in a candy store.  I had been bring in wood from PA , running up to Rumford  for hardwood or worse buying it retail.  It is fantastic having someone like Nino so close to Bangor.  I have been buying Cherry, Maple and Oak from him.  the wood is very stable with no snap or movement at all when you saw it.  Moisture is good and it planes and sands well.   Nino does his own sawing, and drying therefore has a great control over the process.  Great Guy, Great Product, Honest Broker.

A few months ago I did a search to find some hardwoods in Maine, I was  in need of cherry limbers for my slat rocker project.

After a small search I came up with " Kings Mountain Hardwoods"  What a nice  experience it was, all the nice wood was right in front of my eyes. I hand picked out each cherry plank and Nino was very helpful in helping pick out just the right timbers for my needs..

     this is Jamien St. Pierre, i bought some wood quite a while back. it took quite some time to even start my project, but i thought you might enjoy seeing the finished product made from the raw materials i picked up.  The top i breadboarded solid cherry, and the carriage is maple. the pegs are maple and purple heart.  I wil be up again soon for my next project.
