In the shadows of Kings Mountain is my collection of premium hardwoods from Maine and New York . Featured are fine cherry, ash, hard maple, white oak, red oak, and walnut. Boards are available in 4/4 to 12/4.
I saw the wood and dry it in my custom built Nyle low temperature kiln. The wood is slow processed to achieve great stability in sawing and finishing.
I am a 1992 graduate of the University of Maine College of Forest Resources with a B. S. in Forest Engineering. I haul logs and pulpwood to local mills and help people market their timber. I started air drying red oak in 1995 shortly thereafter I expanded to primarily locally grown hardwood species. I installed a Nyle dry kiln in 2005 to speed up the drying process and produce a better, more evenly dried product. I take great pains and pride in the product produced. I know you will agree the efforts are worthwhile when crafting my wood.
