On the Move is comprised of many different programs that offer recreational adventures throughout the year. These programs are created to provide additional social and recreational opportunities to children beyond their everyday routine. Children must be at least 6 years old and toilet trained to participate. There is an after school program, a fun Friday evening program, Saturday adventure outings and a week-long summer camp experience.
Each day is unique at the After School program with arts and crafts, cooking classes, swimming, yoga, gym activities and outdoor recreation. Students look forward to this special time each day.
The Friday Evening program is a great time for the children to venture into the local community to enjoy an evening of bowling, a movie or just a fun get-together.
Our Saturday Adventure outings are designed to help the children experience a variety of community-based leisure activities supported by CCCD staff.
The Summer Day Camp experience includes: summing, tennis, baseball, soccer, arts and crafts and more. There is a full staff of devoted instructors to help create a safe and caring environment.
